Councilman Robert Garcia is working towards getting a new park here in Long Beach named after famed American activist Harvey Milk. Response to Garcia's endeavor are mostly positive.

Garcia is planning on attending the opening of an exhibit celebrating Harvey Milk tomorrow night at Evan Kelly and Liza Mitchell's Exhibit A on Pine Avenue.

It starts at 6 and goes to 8....the exhibit is brought to us by The Center Long Beach. :-) See ya there!
